"Vinus: Wine Art Language" constitutes a scholarly investigation of creativity, methodology,
and viticultural heritage, employing wine as both conceptual foundation and material substrate
for artistic expression.
Grounded in the historical, traditional, and cultural dimensions of viticulture, the paintings
demonstrate wine's chromatic properties, where tonal variations and subtle gradations function
as pictorial elements, creating visual compositions that reflect the complexity inherent in
viticultural diversity. The sculptural works feature wine as integral material with temporal pieces
that undergo continuous transformation. Founded upon various theoretical frameworks related
to wine culture, these works embody the medium's inherent mutability and evolutionary
characteristics, providing tangible representations of fermentation, aging, and maturation
processes. Certain sculptures present abstract interpretations of diverse oenological concepts
as well.
Through interdisciplinary collaboration, the series incorporates microscopic imagery obtained
via scanning electron microscopy, offering analytical perspectives on wine's microstructure.
These images reveal previously inaccessible visual territories, exposing intricate morphological
details and textural phenomena imperceptible through conventional observation, thereby
recontextualizing familiar material into abstract visual discourse.
